The FloodBreak® Slimline Vehicle Gate is a low profile passive automatic flood barrier designed for vehicular openings requiring limited height protection. Like all FloodBreak automatic floodgates, the Slimline model provides permanent flood protection, 24/7, without human intervention or power. Designed for flood protection at two heights – 25cm or 50 cm – the barriers can be any length and are able to support HS-20 vehicular loads.
No Slowdown In Activity
FloodBreak Slimline Gates provide permanent flood protection while keeping important service areas open until an actual flood event happens. There is no need to shut down your facility prematurely. The FloodBreak flood barrier is automatically deployed by the floodwaters. When the floodwaters recede, the floodgate returns to it’s hidden, underground position.
Slimline Passive Flood Barrier: Blends In With Architectural Designs
FloodBreak automatic floodgates can use existing smooth surface sidewalls, like the granite that is integral to the MD Anderson campus architectural beauty. Other options include a stainless coating or embedding into a floodwall. Regardless of the exterior or interior design of your building, FloodBreak gates are able to match that design for maximum protection with minimal disruption.
