The Diamond Silver Building in Lambertville, NJ, integrated FloodBreak’s passive flood protection technology to safeguard its commercial tenants and infrastructure from the region’s recurring flood threats. This installation ensures automatic, low-maintenance flood protection in a historic riverfront community vulnerable to Delaware River flooding.

Background

Situated along the Delaware River in Hunterdon County, the Diamond Silver Building offers commercial office suites in a walkable, historic, and arts-driven city. While Lambertville is sought-after for its charm and proximity to Trenton, Philadelphia, and New York, but like many settings in historic riverside towns, its location brings periodic flooding risk.

The building’s diverse tenants, ranging from wellness providers to digital marketing firms, required a reliable solution that would not disrupt operations, alter the historic aesthetic, or rely on human activation during emergency situations. Protecting ground-level access points and preserving business continuity were top priorities.

Solution

Our customer installed our automatic flood barriers to ensure that the building maintains passive, 24/7 flood protection. The FloodBreak® system deploys automatically using rising floodwater, no electricity, no human intervention, and no mechanical trigger required.

These solutions are custom tailored to the Diamond Silver Building’s footprint, ensuring dependable flood resilience without interrupting day-to-day business activity.
