Passive Flood Barriers
Pedestrian Gate
- These passive flood gates are designed for openings intended for pedestrian traffic and can support live loads of 100psf.
- Gates are designed to support hydrostatic loads up to 6’ in height and 30’ in length.
Vehicle Gate
- These passive flood gates are designed for intermittent, low speed vehicular traffic.
- They are designed to support AASHTO HS-25 vehicular loadings and flood protection height up to 13’. There is no maximum length.
Heavy Duty Roadway Gate
- These passive flood gates are designed for continuous,high-speed vehicular traffic.
- They are designed to support AASHTO HS-25 vehicular loadings and flood protection height up to 13’. There is no maximum length.
Special Duty Flood Gate
- FloodBreak can design flood gates to meet your project requirements including additional load considerations.
- There is no height nor length limitation.
