Revolutionary Flood Control
Two Decades of Innovation
Self-Activated Flood Control
FloodBreak was founded on a fundamental yet very simple concept — using the power of rising water against itself to automatically protect structures from flood damage caused by floodwaters.
Without human intervention and without power.
There has never been flood damage behind a FloodBreak-protected opening.
Active flood control products require human intervention or power, both primary causes of avoidable flood damage. FloodBreak eliminates that problem and the risk posed to people and owned assets.
What we do
Reduce Flood Risk
FEMA states its preference for passive flood mitigation measures because it eliminates human intervention. Passive flood barriers like FloodBreak’s eliminate this risk and deploy automatically regardless of whether personnel can get there or not. These self-rising flood barriers, unlike traditional flood control measures, permanently mitigate flood risk without reliance on people or power.
Design Innovative Flood Solutions
FloodBreak was built on innovation after traditional flood control devices failed to protect Houston during TS Allison. We recognized the need to protect people and property from flood devastation regardless of when the flood comes. The creative problem solving that resulted in our passive automatic flood barrier technology is core to how we approach all customer flood challenges. Working with project teams, we design flood protection solutions that meet the specific requirements of each project. Let us know how can we help you.
Build systems with long service life
FloodBreak flood barrier systems are designed for long service life with minimal maintenance so they will operate for decades. We have many systems that have been in service and field-tested for years including real-world deployments and long-term exposure in a variety of field environments.
FloodBreak materials are specified for long-term exposure to harsh, outdoor conditions so they are not prone to corrosion or rust.
