The past few months have been busy as the FloodBreak team attended four major hurricane & flood plain management conferences. We kicked things off in April at the National Hurricane Conference in New Orleans, then kept the momentum going in May with stops at the Governor’s Hurricane Conference in West Palm Beach, the ASFPM Annual Conference back in New Orleans, and CWRA in Penticton, Canada.
Each event gave us the chance to connect with city planners, engineers, emergency managers, vendors, and fellow flood protection leaders. These conferences weren’t just about showcasing our passive flood technology. They were about listening, learning, and building smarter, more flood resilient communities together.
Our CEO and Founder, Lou Waters, joined the team at ASFPM. He spent time at the FloodBreak booth meeting new faces, catching up with partners, and diving into key conversations surrounding passive flood protection.
We’re proud of the ground we’ve covered and the relationships we’re building. Here’s to stronger partnerships and more flood resilient infrastructure as we head into the second half of the year.
